Jeep Tour

Arrive in Bishkek. Meet your guide and driver at Manas International Airport. After breakfast at the hotel, collect the jeeps and begin the safari. Drive to Kyzyl-Oi village via Kara-Balta town, crossing Too-Ashuu pass (3,586 m) through the Suu-Samyr valley — rich in natural beauty and spectacular landscapes. Arrive at Kyzyl-Oi in the evening.

Dinner and overnight at a family homestay.

Morning horse game show: Ulak Tartysh (goat polo), Tyin Enmei (coin pick-up from horseback), and Kyz Kuumai (girl chasing). After the spectacle, drive along the Kokomeren River to Son-Kul. Cross Kara-Keche pass (3,384 m) — a coal mine area — with stunning panoramas and photo opportunities. Lunch en route near Chaek village.

Overnight and dinner in yurts on the shore of Son-Kul Lake.

After breakfast, enjoy an optional hour of horse riding near the lake. Then continue to Tash-Rabat caravanserai (3,000 m), an 11th-century stone structure used as a rest stop on the Great Silk Road. The historic site is remarkably well preserved.

Overnight and dinner in yurts near the caravanserai.

Explore Tash-Rabat caravanserai by hiking the surrounding hills in the morning. Participate in a Shaman Show in traditional ancestral costumes. En route to Naryn stop at a beautiful waterfall for a coffee break. Optional visit to Salkyn-Tor gorge near the town.

Overnight in a hotel in Naryn town.

Full drive to Tamga village crossing the Eki-Naryn river confluence and the majestic Tosor pass (4,020 m) — through the wild heart of the Central Tien Shan. Coffee-break stops en route. Arrive at Tamga village in the evening.

Drive along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul. Stop at Barskoon gorge where cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin rehabilitated — see his monument. Watch an eagle show by a Berkutchi. Visit Jeti-Oguz (Seven Oxen) red rock formation and the Broken Heart hill for an outdoor picnic.

Drive to Karakol for dinner and overnight at a hotel.

Drive to Altyn-Arashan hot springs in a 6WD army truck. Soak in natural hot springs and hike in the spectacular gorge. Return to Karakol for a festive Dungan family dinner and high-quality folklore show.

Morning city tour of Karakol: Russian Holy Trinity Orthodox Church and the Dungan Mosque. Visit the Przhevalsky Museum. Drive along the northern Issyk-Kul shore, enter Semyonovsk and Grigorevka gorges over a spectacular mountain pass. Arrive at a resort on the lake shore.

Evening dinner and overnight.

Visit Bronze Age petroglyphs in Cholpon-Ata. Drive along the northern shore, cross into Chon-Kemin valley for rafting in the Chu River. Lunch of smoked lake fish. Stop at Burana Tower (12th century). Arrive in Bishkek, return jeeps. Farewell dinner with souvenir exchange.

Early morning transfer to the airport. End of service!
